Extra precautions at railway stations for passengers traveling to Beijing

Passengers taking trains to Beijing are required to undergo security checks and temperature measurements twice at railway stations in Tianjin as security is enhanced, the China Railway Shanghai Group has announced.

The mandatory security measures will last till May 28, the group said.

Real-name verification for passengers heading to Beijing has also been strengthened, the group said.

Passengers are reminded to allow enough time for their progress through railway stations.

They should also wear masks throughout the trip, the group said.

The 13th National People's Congress, the country's top legislature, will open its third annual session in Beijing on May 22.

乘火车进京需“二次安检”！

从5月15日至28日期间，天津站、天津西站、天津南站、滨海站等9座车站将对乘坐进京方向列车的旅客进行“二次安检”。大家要估计好时间，可适当提早到达车站哦！

“二次安检”是指旅客在持票进入火车站前，安检员对旅客及其随身携带的物品进行第一次全面安检。在旅客上车前、检票时，安检员再次对乘坐相关列车的旅客及其随身携带的物品进行安检，再次核对旅客的实名身份证。

铁路部门将严格安检查危制度，做到逢包必检、逢液必查、逢疑必问。同时提醒进京方向的旅客合理安排出行时间。在出行前仔细检查行李，不要携带爆炸性、易燃性、腐蚀性、毒性、强酸碱性和放射性、挥发性的各种危险物品，不要携带有强烈刺激气味的物品以及打火机、自喷压力容器、酒精、84消毒液等物品进站乘车，到达车站后请认真配合好安全检查。

TIANJIN: 1 new asymptomatic infection case reported

As of May 17th, 10:00, there was 1 new asymptomatic infection case of novel coronavirus reported in the city. So far, of all the 54 imported cases, 53 have been discharged upon recovery and 1 are still hospitalized.

The 10th asymptomatic infection case, female, 19 years old, Chinese nationality, who lives in London. The patient took a flight from Sweden and arrived at Tianjin Binhai International Airport on May 16th.

No imported suspected cases are undergoing test. No new locally transmitted cases or suspected cases were reported.

4 asymptomatic infection cases are undergoing medical observation right now, the health commission said.

新增1例无症状感染者！境外输入！

5月17日6时至10时，我市新增境外输入无症状感染者1例（中国籍），累计10例（境外输入9例），其中解除医学观察4例、尚在医学观察4例、转为确诊病例2例。

第10例境外输入无症状感染者，女，19岁，学生，中国籍，居住地英国伦敦。该患者自瑞典斯德哥尔摩乘坐航班（CA912），于5月16日抵达天津滨海国际机场。入境时体温36.4℃，申报无疾病症状，海关检疫排查后转送至天津市红桥区银泰酒店集中隔离医学观察点。16日鼻咽拭子核酸检测结果为阳性。17日经市专家组确诊为我市境外输入无症状感染者；现已转至空港医院进行医学观察，有关流行病学调查正在进行中。

Masks outdoors no longer required

The health authorities said people are not required to wear masks when in safe social distance.

Feng Luzhao, researcher with the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, said at a news conference on Sunday that it's not necessary to wear masks at outdoor parks and streets as well as playgrounds that are not crowded.

"We suggest that people don't wear masks when doing exercises especially carrying out intense exercises," he said. "People are not required to wear masks at some areas that have low risks of infection or those spaces that have good ventilation and are maintaining social distancing including offices, meeting rooms, construction sites and schools."

Feng, however, added that when people enter enclosed environment or public spaces that have crowds of people such as public transportation vehicles and elevators, they need to wear masks.

"Also, if you feel sick and have symptoms like cough or fever, wearing mask is a must to avoid passing your disease to other people," he said.

People are required to wear masks when in the hospitals or accompanying family members to see the doctors, lowering risks of getting infected.

户外、公园、运动时不用戴口罩

国务院联防联控机制5月17日举行发布会，介绍常态化疫情防控。中国疾控中心研究员冯录召表示，是否佩戴口罩遵照一个原则：在通风条件良好，保持安全社交距离时，可以不佩戴口罩。

他进一步解释说，户外、公园、人比较少的街道、操场，尤其是剧烈运动时不佩戴口罩。同时，近期没有新发病例报告的低风险地区，办公室、会议室、工地、学校在保持通风条件和安全社交距离情况下，也不需要戴口罩。

冯录召表示，有3种情况建议佩戴口罩，一是密闭的公共场所，如公共交通工具、电梯、人员较多的公共场所。二是出现发热、咳嗽等呼吸道感染症状时应佩戴口罩，避免传染其他人员。三是特定环境内，比如医院，不管是就诊或陪护，均需佩戴口罩。

Chinese ambassador to Israel passes away due to health reasons

China’s Ambassador to Israel Du Wei died unexpectedly on Sunday in Tel Aviv due to physical health reasons. 

An investigation is forthcoming, the source said. 

Du, 58, was appointed ambassador to Israel in Feb.  He earned a master's degree in law. 

Prior to his Israel appointment, Du served as China’s ambassador to Ukraine from 2016-2019, and Deputy Director-General of the Policy Planning Department with Chinese Foreign Ministry from 2013-2016.

上任仅3个月，中国驻以色列大使杜伟意外去世

中国驻以色列大使杜伟不幸于5月17日在特拉维夫去世。初步判断，杜伟大使因身体健康原因意外去世，具体还需进一步核实。我们对其不幸逝世表示深切哀悼，对其家人表示诚挚慰问。

官方简历显示，杜伟生于1962年10月，现年58岁，今年2月刚刚就任中国驻以色列国特命全权大使，至今仅3个月。
